Brady Bundchen Forbes Power Couple list, What do Tom Brady, Michelle Obama, Bill Gates, Jay-Z and Cher Wang have in common, besides not having won a Super Bowl in the past eight years? They’re all half of Forbes’ most powerful couples in the world.The New England Patriots quarterback and his wife, Gisele Bundchen, are one of 16 couples to appear on the magazine’s list. They appear alongside other famous couples like Barack and Michelle Obama, Bill and Melinda Gates and Chris and Adrienne Bosh. (We’re kidding about that last one.)
Forbes doesn’t rank the couples, which feels like a missed opportunity. Can you imagine how vigorously sports analysts, foreign policy experts and Arrested Development fans would debate whether Tom and Gisele are more powerful than Chinese president Xi Jinping and his folksinger wife Peng Liyuan or Portia de Rossi and Ellen DeGeneres?
The magazine notes that Gisele is still the highest paid supermodel in the world, netting $45 million last year. That’s almost five times more than the second-highest earning model, Kate Moss. If the past five months are any indication, Gisele may soon be overtaken in those rankings by Joe Flacco.
