The two met at the most unliekly of places-the zoo! Wilde joked she was trying to feed a bear when she almost fell in. Enter Sudeikis, who saved her and in the process won her heart. The two have been seen everywhere from Hawaii to Rome, with arms wrapped about each other and beaming faces.
“Anything you heard [about timing] is a lie because we don’t know yet!” said the actress earlier this year while promoting “The Rider and the Storm,” a 15-minute documentary about a Queens iron worker whose beach-side home was destroyed by Superstorm Sandy. (Wilde is an executive producer for the project and her friends, RYOT.org co-founders David Darg and Bryn Mooser, shot and co-directed it.) “We’re so blessed to be very busy at the moment, but it will be fun whenever it happens!”
This is the second marriage for both Sudeikis and Wilde. Wilde was previously married to Italian film maker and prince Tao Ruspoli. Sudeikis was married to writer Kay Cannon previously as well. When asked, long before the proposal was made, how she knew Sudeikis was the one Wilde answered “Oh, how could I not know?”
The pair, while having no definite wedding plans as of yet, are certain of one thing, regardless of where and when the nuptuals take place, the wedding will be wonderful. A joining of two hearts clearly smitten with one another and enveloped in love.
